A cat can spend the afternoon inspecting an empty grocery bag and still have firm opinions about bathroom access. The One automatic litter box has an enclosed design and an entry threshold of 30 cm, a typical height for this category. That step is the practical compromise we would weigh most carefully, especially for a cat whose movements have become less comfortable.

How easily does your cat step into the current litter box? Watch that ordinary movement before deciding that a different enclosure will suit the same routine. A familiar preference for enclosed boxes gives you a useful clue, but acceptance still belongs to the cat.

The litter tray holds 6 L. That is the space for litter inside the enclosure, so treat it as part of the filling routine, rather than a calendar for emptying waste. Cats sharing the bathroom will bring their own schedule.

We like the airtight waste compartment as a concrete odor-control feature. Its purpose is to contain odors from collected waste, a useful consideration when guests pass the bathroom on their way inside. It does not erase the need to remove waste and clean the enclosure. The litter chore gets smaller; it does not retire.

The detachable globe gives the cleaning routine a useful starting point: the enclosure can come apart for maintenance. Standard trash bag compatibility also means the waste routine uses a familiar household supply. You still need replacement bags, and detachable parts still need cleaning. Those are ordinary responsibilities worth keeping in view when automatic operation sounds especially appealing.

The manufacturer describes a weight sensor among the safety features. Treat that as an advertised feature, not a guarantee of safety. Weight tracking can help you follow recorded changes, but it is not a health tool. If weight or bathroom habits change, bring the concern to your veterinarian.

That is a specific reason to change your shortlist when comfortable access matters more than the appeal of the overall equipment. The useful question is how your cat moves today, rather than how easily your cat managed a similar movement in the past.

The UBPet C41 has a higher unit weight at 10 kg. Carrying that alternative therefore asks more of you, even while its entrance asks less of a senior cat. That tradeoff is worth thinking through if the litter box will occasionally need moving for a thorough room cleaning.

Our preference depends on the cat, then the household routine. For a comfortably mobile cat, One remains a convincing option with useful maintenance features. For an older companion, easier access can settle the choice before the rest of the equipment enters the conversation.
